Terms of Service
EffortFreeWeb is operated by Focal Point Management Group LLC (“we,” “us,” “the Company”). By purchasing or using our services, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
We build a static website for your business using publicly available information, deliver it to you for review at no cost, and charge only if you choose to keep it.
2. Payment
- Standard service: $499 if paid in full, or three payments of $180 ($540 total); paying in full saves $41. If you pay in three payments, transfer of the domain to your own registrar account is held until the third payment clears.
- Full-service option ($1,199, adds logo design, professional photography and copywriting): single payment only.
- Accepted payment methods: debit and credit card, processed by Stripe.
3. Domain
The domain is registered in your name. We retain day-to-day management access, including DNS and account settings, until you request a transfer, which we complete at no charge.
4. Corrections and changes
Factual corrections — phone, address, hours, services, licensing information, business name — are free and unlimited for the first 30 days after launch, then limited to 12 free corrections per year, refreshing at each annual renewal. Style and design changes, including colors, logo placement and photo selection, are covered by one correction round of up to 3 changes. Additional changes, or changes beyond either category, are available for $250 per request, quoted before any work starts.
Before your site goes live you confirm, in writing, that your services, hours and contact details are accurate. Anything you add after that sign-off is treated as new content rather than a correction.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy, incorporated here by reference. In summary: full refund within 7 days of your first payment, provided the domain has not yet been transferred to your own registrar account.
6. Renewal
Your site remains live for one year from launch. At checkout you choose whether the $149 annual renewal charges automatically to your card on file or requires your manual opt-in each year. If the site is not renewed by either method, it is taken offline.
7. Content you provide
By submitting photos, logos or other materials, you confirm you have the right to use them and grant us a license to use them solely for building and maintaining your site.
8. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, leads or sales resulting from your website.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
